Mid-Century Italian “Triedri” Chandelier by Venini, c.1960s

A refined and highly architectural Murano glass chandelier composed of elongated Triedri prisms—triangular-section glass elements—suspended in a dense, tiered formation. Each prism is individually cast and polished, creating a continuous vertical rhythm that wraps the frame in a sculptural curtain of light.
The cylindrical silhouette is defined by multiple graduated tiers, with the upper level forming a clean, structured band, while the lower tiers step inward to create depth and a soft, cascading effect. When illuminated, the glass refracts light with exceptional clarity, producing both sharp linear highlights and a gentle internal glow.
Attributed to Venini, this model reflects the technical precision and modernist restraint of 1960s Murano production, where repetition and geometry are used to achieve a highly sophisticated lighting presence.
The frame, discreetly concealed within the glass composition, supports a high-density arrangement of prisms, giving the piece both visual weight and a sense of movement.

We have a pair of these chandeliers available.
