Mid-Century Italian Tronchi Chandelier by Toni Zuccheri for Venini, c.1960s.
An elegant and highly collectable example of Zuccheri’s iconic Tronchi design, composed of hand-blown Murano glass elements in a refined interplay of Rosa and Cristallo. Each glass “trunk” is individually formed, with its organic cylindrical profile softly diffusing light to create a warm, atmospheric glow.
The chandelier is arranged in a tiered formation, allowing the layered glass to build depth and visual movement, while the subtle contrast between the blush Rosa and clear Cristallo adds a delicate tonal variation characteristic of Venini production from this period.
Originally sourced from a hotel in Italy, with four examples currently available—an increasingly rare opportunity to secure a cohesive suite for larger projects or multiple spaces.
Set on a metal frame, the composition balances sculptural presence with refined restraint—an enduring hallmark of Italian mid-century lighting.
Rewired to Australian standards.
Vintage pieces with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
