Sculptural Italian lounge chair with matching ottoman, attributed to Vivai del Sud and dating to the 1970s. The design is characterised by its softly contoured silhouette and distinctive laminated timber banding that wraps the base and arm profile, creating a strong horizontal rhythm typical of Italian organic modernism of the period. The chair and ottoman are upholstered in a pale aqua upholstery, offering a fresh contrast against the warm tone of the bent and layered timber detailing. The low, enveloping form provides excellent comfort while maintaining a visually light and architectural presence.
