Vintage Italian Nine Shade Chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari, c.1970's

Italian Designer Gaetano Sciolari was famous for his futuristic lighting for both his own lighting company 'Sciolari Lighting' and the Italian Designer company 'Stilnovo'.
The use of mixed metals is prominent in Scholari's work. In this chandelier there is the use of chrome and brush brass. Each shade is tiered at different levels and each triangular base has a clear cylinder shade on top.
The light has been fully restored and rewired to Australian standards.
The light has minor signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece.
