Vintage Italian Glass Flush Mount / Wall Light, c.1970s
By Mazzega
Striking Italian flush mount or wall light produced in the 1970s by Mazzega, featuring a sculptural hand-blown glass panel with rich amber and clear inclusions. The heavily textured glass is organically shaped, creating a soft undulating form that diffuses light beautifully while showcasing the depth and movement within the glass.
The glass is mounted on a brass backplate and secured with exposed fittings, a hallmark of Italian lighting design from this period. When illuminated, the piece emits a warm, atmospheric glow, highlighting the artisanal glasswork and tonal variations.
An excellent example of 1970s Italian Murano lighting, combining decorative presence with functional design.
