Pair of Vintage Italian Wall Sconces, c.1970s
A striking pair of vintage Italian wall sconces featuring textured Murano glass panels suspended from a polished chrome frame. Each sconce is composed of thick, sculptural glass blades with a distinctive bark-like surface that beautifully refracts and diffuses the light.
The linear composition and crisp geometry create a refined modernist profile, while the molten texture of the glass adds warmth and depth — a hallmark of 1970s Italian craftsmanship.
Being vintage, there are some signs of wear consistent with age, including very small chips that do not detract from the overall beauty or integrity of the pieces.
Fully rewired to Australian standards.
