Mid Century Venetian Ice Chandelier by Barovier c.1960's

This magnificent chandelier by Barovier is a beautiful example of Venetian craftsmanship.
The chandelier consists of two tiers. The top tier features a small, upward-facing floret above a brass circular band. From this band hang two organically shaped, large, thick pieces of Murano glass, resembling ice blocks, arranged side by side in rows. These are finished with a small glass ball and florets, mirroring those seen above.
The bottom tier also includes two blocks, with the lower block finished with the same florets.
The underside of the chandelier has a dome-shaped glass diffuser with a floret finial.
The light has been completely rewired and restored to meet Australian standards.
