Carlo Nason Torpedo Chandelier for Mazzega — Italy, 1960s

A rare three-light Torpedo chandelier attributed to Carlo Nason for Mazzega, dating to the 1960s.

This striking Italian design features three sculptural arms arranged around a central metal structure, each dressed with overlapping elongated white Murano glass elements. The softly rounded, torpedo-shaped glass creates a layered architectural silhouette, beautifully diffusing the light when illuminated.

The brushed metal framework and strong geometric construction are characteristic of the experimental Italian lighting designs of the period, while the cascading glass gives the chandelier an elegant sculptural quality from every angle.

A highly collectible example of 1960s Italian Mid-Century Modern lighting, equally impressive illuminated or viewed as a sculptural object.

Please note: This is a vintage piece and therefore shows signs of wear and patina consistent with its age, adding to its authentic character and history.
