Elegant and finely proportioned Italian mid-century sideboard dating to the 1950s, distinguished by its elongated silhouette and refined decorative detailing. The piece has been restored by our furniture restorer while the glass is original to the piece.  It features six generously sized drawers arranged across three bays, each drawer front accented with delicate hand-etched linework and fitted with original brass drop handles. The body is executed in a rich, dark-stained timber with softly rounded corners, resting on tapered ebonised legs that terminate in subtle brass sabots—an archetypal detail of the period. The top is finished in a high-gloss lacquered surface, adding contrast and a gentle reflective quality that enhances the overall elegance of the form. Internally, the drawers offer excellent storage and retain their original construction. A strong yet understated example of Italian craftsmanship from the post-war period, combining functional design with restrained ornamentation. Ideal for use as a sideboard, credenza, or low console in both residential and design-led commercial interiors.
Condition: Very good vintage condition being restored with light wear and minor surface marks consistent with age and use. Â Original glass top with signs of wear consistent with the age.
