Mid Century Italian Murano Link Chandelier by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, c.1960's

This monumental link chandelier is by the Italian designer Carlo Nason. The chandelier produced by Mazzega, has an overall height of over three metres.
The chandelier has five tiers of glass. Each piece of glass is in a shape of a 'C' which then links in together to create chains of glass in lengths of either two, three or four.
Each piece of glass is transparent, but does have an organic texture to it.
The chandelier has been completely rewired and restored for Australian standards.
