Mid Century Italian “Fiore” Murano Glass Chandelier attributed to Archimede Seguso.
An exceptional mid-century Venetian chandelier composed of an intricate arrangement of hand-blown Murano glass floral elements in delicate pastel tones of rosa, azzurro, cristallo, and amber. The chandelier is further adorned with elongated sculptural glass leaves rising from the upper tier, creating a dramatic floral crown effect characteristic of the romantic and highly decorative lighting produced by Archimede Seguso during the 1950s and 1960s.
Each individual flower and leaf has been meticulously handcrafted with fine ribbed detailing, allowing the light to softly refract through the coloured glass and produce a warm, luminous glow. The composition is mounted on a concealed metal frame, giving the chandelier an almost floating botanical appearance when illuminated.
A highly sculptural and rare statement piece showcasing the artistry and technical mastery of Murano glassmaking.
