Italian Murano 'Rezzonico' Chandelier, c.1980/90's.

First commissioned in the 1700's by the Rezzonico family, these chandeliers were made for the Venetian palazzos along the grand canals.

This incredibly elaborate chandelier has nine arms each with shades that face upwards. Each arm has a leaf like piece of glass that hangs from it. Within the central bowl Murano glass flowers twist out in each direction. The flowers are themselves different colours
