Italian Art Deco Dining Table by Ico Parisi, c.1940s
Pink Onyx Top – Fully Restored

A rare and exceptional Italian Art Deco dining table attributed to Ico Parisi, dating to the 1940s. This piece showcases a striking pink onyx top with beautifully graduated veining, delivering both elegance and sculptural presence. The onyx surface presents a soft, luminous quality characteristic of the period, offering a refined yet dramatic focal point for any interior.

The table is anchored by a geometric pedestal base, featuring Parisi’s distinctive architectural sensibility. The faceted form combines timber and inset decorative panels, each displaying stylised linear motifs that reference the futurist and rationalist aesthetics of mid-century Italian design.

This piece has been fully restored, including structural stabilisation to the pedestal and conservation work to the onyx. Minor restoration to the decorative panels and finishing details has been completed with sensitivity to the original design, ensuring the table retains its authentic character while presenting in excellent condition.

A rare opportunity to acquire an early Parisi work that beautifully captures the intersection of Art Deco elegance and the emerging modernist language of 1940s Italy.
