ETNA Contemporary Venetian Wall Sconce in Verde by eModerno

A striking expression of contemporary Venetian glassmaking, the ETNA Wall Sconce by eModerno is sculptural in both scale and composition.

Handcrafted just outside Venice using traditional glass-blowing techniques, ETNA is composed of overlapping, individually formed Murano glass elements. Textured Verde glass discs are layered against softly translucent Sage coloured glass, each characterised by an organic, rippled surface that beautifully refracts and diffuses the light.

Arranged vertically along a refined brass structure, the alternating glass forms create a rhythmic, almost jewel-like composition. The rich aquatic green of the Verde glass shifts in tone as it is illuminated, while the Sage elements cast a soft atmospheric glow against the wall. The raw Brass detailing provides a warm counterpoint to the cooler glass palette.  The brass frame will patina overtime through age and touch as is the nature with brass.

Both functional lighting and an architectural statement piece, ETNA celebrates the inherent irregularity and individuality of hand-worked Venetian glass. Each glass element bears subtle variations created during the artisanal production process, ensuring every piece is unique.
