Contemporary Venetian Rostrato Glass Pendant by eModerno

A sculptural contemporary Venetian glass pendant by eModerno, handcrafted in Venice using traditional Murano glassmaking techniques.

The pendant features layers of substantial hand-worked Rostrato glass, formed into a dramatic tapered silhouette. The deeply textured, irregular surface of the glass catches and refracts the light beautifully, creating a warm glow and intricate patterns of light and shadow when illuminated.

The glass is complemented by an elegant hand-blown twisted glass stem and decorative sphere, continuing the Venetian craftsmanship throughout the entire fitting. Each component is individually handmade by Venetian artisans, meaning subtle variations in texture, form and finish are inherent to every piece.

Both decorative and architectural, the Rostrato pendant works beautifully as a singular statement light or installed as a series over a kitchen island, dining table or within a larger interior.
