Contemporary Venetian ‘Selle’ Chandelier by eModerno – Chiaro Rosa

A striking contemporary Venetian Selle chandelier by eModerno, handcrafted by master artisans in our furnace in Venice.

Inspired by the iconic Selle or “Saddle” chandeliers associated with Barovier & Toso, the chandelier is composed of individually hand-blown Murano glass elements, distinguished by their elegant elongated form and softly flared, sculptural ends. Each piece features beautiful linear detailing through the glass, with a textured crushed-glass finish to the underside that catches and diffuses the light.

Shown here in Chiaro Rosa, the delicate translucent pink glass gives the chandelier a subtle warmth while allowing the intricate texture and craftsmanship of each individual element to remain beautifully visible.

Arranged across five cascading tiers, the chandelier has a generous architectural presence at the top before gradually tapering towards a central point below. The repetition and overlapping of the Selle glass creates depth and movement, producing a dramatic sculptural effect whether illuminated or unlit.

Handcrafted entirely in Venice, each chandelier is made to order and can be fully customised in diameter, height, number of tiers, glass colour and frame finish. Glass colours include Cristallo, Rosa, Chiaro Rosa, Verde, Champagne, Ambra, Fumé and Azzurro, with additional colourways available upon request.
