‘Carrara’ Contemporary Venetian Murano Glass Chandelier by eModerno – Viola

Sculptural contemporary Murano glass chandelier by eModerno, handcrafted by master artisans in our Venetian furnace.

The Carrara is composed of two overlapping tiers of individually handcrafted Murano glass elements, arranged around a circular frame to create a beautifully layered and architectural silhouette. Presented here in Viola, the glass has a subtle smoky violet-grey tone that shifts beautifully according to the surrounding light.

Each Carrara element features an organic, hammered texture, creating movement across the surface of the glass and beautifully refracting the light when illuminated. The overlapping arrangement gives the chandelier depth and rhythm while retaining an elegant, refined profile.

The chandelier is suspended from a raw brass rod, with raw brass screws securing each individual glass element. The brass is intentionally left in its natural state and will naturally patina over time, developing a richer and more individual character as it ages. This evolution is inherent to raw brass and forms part of the beauty of the material.

Part of eModerno’s Lecce range, the Carrara can be fully customised to suit individual projects. Frame finish, overall dimensions, suspension, glass colour and configuration can all be specified. Glass styles from the collection—including Lecce, Messina, Bari, Roma, Carrara, Treviso and Empoli—are interchangeable and available in both long and short versions, allowing for highly individual compositions.
