‘Aversa’ Contemporary Venetian Glass Wall Sconce by eModerno

Sculptural Aversa wall sconce by eModerno, handcrafted by master artisans in our Venetian furnace.

The design features two opposing clusters of substantial hand-blown glass elements, arranged vertically around a polished brass central fitting. Each piece of glass is individually formed with a deeply textured, organic surface, giving the sconce the distinctive irregularities and character associated with traditional Venetian glassmaking.

Executed in a warm champagne-toned glass, the Aversa has a beautiful presence both illuminated and unlit. When switched on, light travels through the thickness and texture of the glass, creating a soft golden glow while casting atmospheric reflections onto the surrounding wall.

The symmetrical double-ended composition gives the sconce a strong architectural quality, while the rounded, almost molten appearance of the glass softens the geometry of the design. The polished brass detailing provides a refined contrast and enhances the warmth of the glass.

Handcrafted in Venice, each Aversa sconce is inherently individual, with subtle variations in texture, form and colour resulting from the artisanal glassmaking process.
