Contemporary Venetian Brutalist Wall Sconce by eModerno -'Ardea'

A striking contemporary Venetian wall sconce by eModerno, combining sculptural Brutalist influences with the artistry of handcrafted Italian glass and brass.

The sconce features a beautifully formed, curved Venetian glass shade, distinguished by its deep smoky tones and fluid, organic detailing. Subtle undulating patterns flow across the glass surface, creating a sense of movement and depth while softly diffusing the light when illuminated.

Contrasting against the smooth, sculptural glass is a dramatic handcrafted brass element, featuring a richly textured, almost molten surface characteristic of Brutalist design. The irregular, tactile brass detailing extends vertically along the glass, accented by three projecting brass elements that introduce an architectural quality to the composition.

The juxtaposition of the dark, glossy glass and warm, textured brass creates a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic, celebrating the beauty of contrasting materials and traditional Venetian craftsmanship.

Available in both **left- and right-hand configurations**, these sconces can be installed individually or as a mirrored pair, making them particularly striking when positioned on either side of a doorway, fireplace, mirror or architectural feature.

Each piece is handcrafted in Italy, with subtle variations in the glass and brass reflecting the artisanal nature of its production.

**Please note:** The brass is a natural, living material and will gradually develop a beautiful patina over time. This natural ageing process adds warmth, depth and individual character to each piece.

A distinctive statement wall light that seamlessly blends Brutalist sculpture with contemporary Italian design.
