‘Amalia’ Contemporary Wall Sconce – Piccolo by eModerno
The Amalia – Piccolo is a sculptural wall light defined by its organic, elongated silhouette and richly worked Venetian glass. Gently curved and tapering at each end, the form evokes a stylised leaf — architectural yet fluid in its presence.
Hand-crafted in our furnace just outside Venice, each piece is individually shaped while molten, creating subtle ribbing and internal texture across the glass surface. The tonal depth shifts from translucent highlights to deeper smoky undertones, giving the sconce a layered, almost mineral quality.
A refined vertical diffuser runs through the centre, casting a soft, even glow that accentuates the sculptural contours and creates a gentle wash of light against the wall. Discreet brass fittings secure the glass, adding a subtle metallic detail without interrupting the purity of the form.
The Piccolo scale offers versatility — ideal for hallways, bedside placement, or installed in pairs to frame mirrors or architectural features.
