The elongated geometric body is handcrafted in brass, punctuated by an irregular arrangement of circular opal glass inserts. When illuminated, the individual glass discs emit a soft, diffused glow, while additional light creates an atmospheric play of light and shadow across the surrounding wall.

The strong architectural form is softened by the circular glass detailing, giving the Macchiare a distinctly mid-century Italian influence while retaining a refined contemporary character.
