Contemporary Venetian sculptural vase distinguished by its bold, organic applications and refined tonal depth. The cylindrical body is formed in a warm, champagne-toned glass with a subtle internal texture, softly diffusing light and giving the piece a gentle luminosity.
Applied across the surface are large, irregular circular forms in a deep burgundy glass, appearing almost black until caught by light, where rich red undertones emerge. These organic “dropped” elements create a strong, rhythmic composition—fluid yet deliberate—contrasting beautifully with the clarity and restraint of the vessel.
The interplay between the translucent ground and the dense, sculptural applications results in a piece that feels both grounded and expressive, firmly rooted in Murano tradition while embracing a contemporary, almost painterly approach to form.
