‘Tortona’ Contemporary Chandelier by eModerno

A sculptural statement defined by rhythm, symmetry, and material contrast, the Tortona chandelier embodies a distinctly Italian modernist sensibility. Designed and produced exclusively for eModerno, this contemporary piece explores the interplay between precision-engineered metalwork and textured, light-diffusing glass.
The structure is composed of a refined brass framework, suspended from a linear ceiling plate, from which a series of curved glass panels form a continuous circular silhouette. Each panel features a finely gridded surface texture, creating a subtle optical effect — refracting and softening the light while maintaining architectural clarity. The glass arcs are secured with polished brass fixings, reinforcing the deliberate, technical aesthetic of the design.
At the core, sculptural conical elements in polished metal radiate from a central hub, introducing a dynamic, almost kinetic quality. The layered composition — curved glass, radial brass arms, and tapered cones — results in a chandelier that feels both structured and fluid, industrial yet elegant.
When illuminated, Tortona emits a warm, atmospheric glow. The textured glass diffuses the light evenly, while the open central form allows illumination to spill both upward and downward, enhancing spatial depth.
Produced in our Venetian furnace and workshop, the Tortona can be customised in:
Frame finish (aged brass, polished brass, nickel, or custom finishes)
Glass tone (clear, smoke, champagne, or bespoke colourways)
Diameter and drop to suit project specifications
Fully wired and compliant with Australian Standards.

A bold yet refined centrepiece, ideal for dining settings, grand entryways, or above kitchen islands where architectural lighting is required to anchor the space.
