An exceptional and monumental multi-tiered Murano glass chandelier attributed to Venini, composed of vertically suspended octagonal glass tubes in a refined palette of amber, golden topaz, and crystal clear.
Each element is individually hand-blown and precision-formed with eight facets, creating a prismatic diffusion of light and a rich, textural surface throughout. The tubes are arranged in a highly disciplined cascading formation across seven graduating tiers, tapering elegantly to a central point—forming a striking inverted pyramid silhouette of true architectural presence.
The interplay of colour—shifting from warm amber to luminous clear—introduces depth, rhythm, and movement, while the repetition of the octagonal profile delivers a sculptural clarity that is both bold and refined.
This particular example carries a rare and compelling provenance, originally sourced from a private residence in Rome, belonging to a prominent footballer. It formed part of a significant collection of Murano lighting within the home, of which this is the final remaining piece we have retained—further elevating its rarity and collectability.
A commanding statement piece of considerable scale, this chandelier is not simply lighting, but a work of Venetian glassmaking that defines and anchors a space.
